Pre writing steps

• Analyze top 3 ranking posts for the target keyword
• Note their word count (aim for 1.5x)
• Check “Searches related to” at the bottom of the SERP
• Look up topic on Reddit/Quora
• Find unique stats/data points to include
• Create detailed content outline

Content Outline Example

• Introduction (H2)

  • Why is SEO important? (H3)
• Types of SEO
• Technical SEO
• On-Page SEO
• Off-Page SEO

URL Structure

Keep your URL slug brief, and make sure to include your target keyword.

Avoid mentioning the year in the URL slug (you want your content to be evergreen).

Keyword Research

DON’T randomly publish new content, Instead…

Do this:

• Go to Ahrefs Keyword Explorer
• Enter a broad keyword, eg: Leather bag.
• Click on Matching terms.

Now this is where the magic happens.

Apply the below filters:

• KD (Keyword Difficulty) less than 20
• Lowest DR of 20 in top 5.

Bonus Tip: Set the word count to a minimum of 4.

This will give you all the EASY to rank keywords of your niche.

All you need to do is create helpful content around these topics.
