Prodictivity Tips and Tricks
In this article, we will discuss some productivity tips and tricks that can help you stay focused and get more done.
Wake Up Early
Waking up early increases your productivity x2, since there are no distractions, your head is clear.
Also, you can use this habit as a time for yourself by doing a daily yoga, journaling, meditation. Morning rituals are very important and they follow the compound interse rule.
I actively used this technique at the begining of my career as a Software Enginner, since I need to learn a lot of things to become a strong developer.
The Power of Limits
Setting limits can help you stay focused and avoid getting overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do. Here are some ways you can use limits to improve your productivity:
- Time limits: Set a time limit for each task or activity to help you stay on track and avoid spending too much time on one thing.
- Task limits: Limit the number of tasks you work on at once to avoid multitasking and improve your focus.
- Information limits: Limit the amount of information you consume to avoid information overload and stay focused on what’s important.
The Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that involves breaking your work into intervals (usually 25 minutes) separated by short breaks. This technique can help you stay focused and avoid burnout by giving your brain regular breaks.
Here’s how you can use the Pomodoro Technique:
- Choose a task to work on.
- Set a timer for 25 minutes and work on the task until the timer goes off.
- Take a short break (5 minutes) to rest and recharge.
- Repeat the process for as long as you need to get the task done.
The Two-Minute Rule
The Two-Minute Rule is a productivity hack that involves doing any task that takes less than two minutes to complete immediately. This rule can help you avoid procrastination and tackle small tasks that can quickly pile up.
Here’s how you can use the Two-Minute Rule:
- Identify tasks that take less than two minutes to complete.
- Do these tasks immediately without overthinking or delaying them.
- Enjoy the satisfaction of completing tasks quickly and efficiently.

- Say “5-4-3-2-1” then do it without thinking.
- Work (and write down every time you get distracted)
- Music is a huge help for me when I am working. Helps me to be able to drown out things that generally annoy me
- I meditate for 10 minutes before I start working. It helps me to clear my mind and focus on the task at hand.
- I use the Pomodoro technique to help me stay focused and productive. I work for 25 minutes and then take a 5-minute break. It helps me to stay on track and avoid burnout.
- I make a to-do list every morning to help me stay organized and prioritize my tasks. It helps me to stay focused and productive throughout the day.
- I use the two-minute rule to help me tackle small tasks that I tend to procrastinate on. It helps me to stay on top of things and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
- I don’t do this often enough but it is to me mind-blowing how well I can focus after 13 minutes of nasal breathing combined with focus training meditation (focus on the area including the forehead and abit beneath the skin). I can’t explain why it works but it does for me.
